Fire proofing the forest

Ben came over after work and spent time brushing the sunrise hillside. He then blew the leaves down the hill and tossed the sticks and logs down the steep slope, which we will gather at the bottom later.
We've been discussing getting a larger pressure washer that will power multiple hoses, and installing a homemade buried sprinkler system around the house.
I’m very grateful to him for coming out again. He's really doing a lot to ensure the house is protected from forest fires. He’s removing all the deadwood to reduce fuel for any potential fires.
He wanted to know how much work he could handle after his workday. By 7:30, he came in and was done. We sat around and discussed our plans.
