Scarlett and Bo brought the children over!!
It was mid or late afternoon by the time they got here, but it was so wonderful to get to play with Desmond and Maya! Desmond was in the living room and heard me and was so thrilled to come up and see me!
We played with my chair, I grew big like a tree, then I melted into a flat puddle when he was playing with my chair.
I showed him some simple three letter words with the big square floor mat letters. I had a pile of vowels and a pile of consonants. He was interested and got the concept of three letter words. He also could repeat 'vowel' and 'consonant'.
Scarlett filmed us, and I filmed her with Maya and Desmond playing by himself on the floor with the toys.
Desmond ate my bran muffin. He didn't want the raisin when we were in the living room in front of the fire. He said it was rotten. I laughed. So he said it again, and I laughed again. And so forth for a dozen laughs. He loved laughing about it, too. The idea that my/his muffin was rotten was quite funny!
We played on my bed. He wanted to look at fast diesel trains. I just love lying down beside him! We also went into the small bedroom upstairs.
The deer light turned on downstairs, so I took him into the big bedroom to look out the door to see the deer. They were gone, though.
