Willem and I had the most wonderful walk today. The sun was shining. It was mild outside, -5 Celsius, I think. First, we walked up to the top of the hill parking lot, and walked back-and-forth and back-and-forth making footprints on the entire area. I love to do that I feel like I'm accomplishing something even though I'm just walking around.
I had so much energy. We walked down the hill, and in Kingfisher Lane. The snow was about a foot deep. We trudge through on the path which had been blown in, so you could hardly see it anymore. William was in the front, Being a snowplow for me.
We walked the whole length of Kingfisher Lane to the Gypsy mobile. Inside we found a bit of snow on the inside of the window by the bed I'm a little bit on the bed there was also some snow just inside the door as the snow outside was that height.
There was one chair there in the sunshine and there was a card table folded up in the corner I was so glad to see the card table. I opened it out set it down and wish that we had two chairs so that we could both sit in the sunshine at one end of the Gypsy mobile. Instead Willem sat on the bed. I brought the card table over to him. And the chair. He put the scrabble game on the table.
We had started a game a few weeks ago and had not put it away so we'd be able to continue it at a later date. It was so much fun with Willem. I filmed our entire game. So much fun indeed! We don't have many rules. We stick to the regular ones when it's convenient, but when it's not, we are forced to make our own! I love it!
After awhile I decided it was cold where we were sitting, so I should go to Jopi Tipi for another white plastic lawn chair. So off I trudged through the deep snow, but on the path. I got near the tipi, and made a new path over to it to get the chair. It was such a relief to get into the tipi onto bare ground!
I sat for a minute to catch my breath, then took the chair and headed back over to the gypsy mobile.
It worked perfectly! We moved ourselves over in front of the windows where we could enjoy the beautiful sunshine! Willem had made about seven words while I was gone, upside down, misspelled and whatever. He had had a wonderful time. It was so nice to see him laugh and be so happy about his accomplishment in breaking the rules of the game! So much fun!
Eventually we left, trudged back through the snow on our path which was now becoming a bit packed down, and climbed the hill on the road. I felt so energized!
