I got up at 7:30am and worked in the rain planting the daylilies and gently pulling them apart. I worked for three hours on it. I wore a black mud bearing dress and old mukwah's.
My back was screaming when I stopped, changed and took Abe over to Chantal's while I went to my eye doctor appointment.
I was late getting there, but it was okay cos he was also late! My eyes are fine but my glasses are scratched from the Kleenex, so he is going to repair them under warranty.
I came home and went back to work in the labyrinth. Erin and her little boy Liam were here. I visited for a few minutes, then got to work. They came out and sat in chairs by the labyrinth while I tore clumps apart.
I had three more to go and did them all. I'm so pleased they are all in. Willem helped me with the shovel at the end.
I had to wangle the outer rows to combine with the edges. It took another four hours to finish the job. The rain clouds had blown away and the sun had come out.
I saved some room at the corners for chairs for daylily viewing and made sure it wasn't in the way of the summer sliding or winter sledding pathway.
I'm so excited about it all.
