Dr. Morisutte my rheumatologist

After journaling and drying off, I left for Ottawa. Alida and family were still asleep in the guest room, Abe and Anna were asleep on couches in the living room. They had wanted to wake up at 3 to go watch the meteor shower, but had slept through the alarm.

I met Willem as I was leaving. He had been out getting the oil changed. Oma Lily was still asleep, or at least in her room downstairs.

I had lost my laptop and other techno gadgets. I seem to lose them quickly. I did find the laptop and was quite glad it wasn't outside in the rain. I had retrieved Abe's open laptop from the tipi last evening, thank goodness as the rain was here.

The temperature had dropped drastically in the past couple of hours. I drove in the rain to my appointment. I got to talk to Vanessa on my way.

Dr. Morisutte told me that I should take only max 3 ibuprophen four times a day. She is reordering the hip MRI to be done Quebec-side as the wait is very short and my file must have gotten lost or I was out of the country when I was notified.

All I discovered is that I am no less stiff and in pain than before. The Enbrel may take 3-6 months to make a big difference in the way I feel.

She gave me a prescription for physiotherapy that's covered by OHIP. I'll have to go into Ottawa for it, though.

On the way home I talked to my family. It looks like everyone is going in different directions. I'll work on planting my daylilies if it's not raining too hard. :) I may even find a raincoat and an apron!
