I sat in my spot on the loveseat in our room, the upstairs bedroom, and replied to youtube posts after I woke up. Dale came to work on the window in the loft.

When I reply to comments on videos, they go onto google plus, but not onto facebook. Google disabled the automatic sharing of everything onto facebook so it could climb to number one over them.

Abe phoned from Chantal's. He had been into town with her. He wants a lot of things and asks until he gets them. I guess it's all stuff like going places. He always seems to get his way, too.

I put off going to pick him up for a couple of hours, but then left my responding and went to get him. He wanted to go to the rapids. I have a problem with that, cos I can't go rescue him if anything happens, the water is too far down the cliff for me to climb anymore. There usually aren't people over there, either.

I went down to the pond to get my bathing suit, but went for a swim before going to get him.

We talked when I got in the car. I'm glad to know what is going on in his world. It's not what I expected. I stopped to get him a frosty. He didn't drink it and said it had bad energy. He didn't want me to drink it either. He's been doing that with lots of food. He will start to peel an orange, then leave it on the counter.

We didn't go to the river, instead we went to the house where I got the lawn mower and gas can, then went to the lake where I mowed the grass where we swim. It hadn't been mown all summer, I think.

I went for a swim. The water was refreshing and cool. There are clams on the bottom of the lake. They are verical in the sand. I remember learning how to steam them in a barrel. I think that was on the beach in Tampa, Florida, but it may have been somewhere else.

Abe swam out to the wooden raft, climbed out on it, then wanted to go home. He swam back to the beach and walked down the road while I swam back slowly, enjoying the refreshment of the water.

I talked to the beach neighbours who were grateful I had come to mow the lawn. They said I was the first non resident to ever do that. I guess I did it for the non-residents who come to the beach.

I put the lawn mower back in the car and Abe came back. We went home. I went back up to my spot in the nice breezy bedroom. Dale was taping drywall by then. He had done all the windows and had filled in the drywall where it needed to be, all around the room.

Abe wanted to go swing on the swings at the park in town. I fed him a couple of cream cheese bagles at home. Willem came along this time as we took him to town. I took my violin and the sedge grass I was going to coil with. In town, he bought himself a burger, fries and a drink.

We went to the park but the swings weren't high enough. I had just settled myself down with my sedge grass coiling and my violin. Willem was doing his sudoku. Abe smoked four cigarettes in a row and said he was cutting down.

He decided he'd like a skateboard. We went to Canadian Tire where he found one. He was not into skateboarding in his youth, as we have no pavement here for him to use. We went back to the park where he practiced on the half pipe. It was amazing to watch him get his balance, then to be able to go down the pipe without falling.

He learns differently from me. I would start slowly, get my sea legs on it, then eventualy try the hard one. He tried the hard one first. It didn't work, so he tried it again. On his third try, he was completely balanced and had no trouble going down it and up the low one in the path.

He wanted to go over to Chantal's, his former French teacher and his friend's mom, afterwards. So we took him over there. I chatted with her for a little while, filmed the june bugs that looked lik a swarm of bees and came home.

driving, weather, abe
