Our room at Ben's
Ben has a large house. It's 5000 square feet, without the basement, which will be another 1500'.
We have the bedroom which has been Daniel's, Abe's and the guest room for visitors. We have twin mattresses on the floor. There is a walk-in closet and an ensuite 4pc bathroom. It was wonderful to open the blinds and see the tops of the other houses, which I refer to as 'shingle mountains'.
I have brought in the two chairs from the front porch which I bought one summer when I wanted to sit on Ben's front porch and use his internet and electricity while he was at work. Those were fun times; I'd drop Willem off at work and spend the day toodling, having a different experience than I usually had at home in the woods, exploring the riverside, etc.
So I can sit on the chair by the loom and work on dressing it. I can sit on the other chair at the end of the bed and laptop. I can lie in the bed and read. We wake up around 9 or 10, then leave to do various errands, like take Willem's suit to the cleaners, get groceries, go to Best Buy for stuff, and such.
I like leaving the blinds open when we go to bed so the sun can come in when it breaks light in the morning.
