Errands on a sunny day

Nov 26, 2012 16:03

I went out to do errands after we had a lovely breakfast. It was in the high sixties, or better. Just lovely and sunny today.

I went over to Earth Fare, looking for the pills that they had suggested in the book, Awakening from Alzheimers. They didn't have what I was looking for, so I got a few different ones for brain and attention as well as lecithin which we always took in the 70's and 80's.

I went to the drugstore next door. They have a counter with bar stools like they had in the shopping center when I grew up. Some very happy little children were sitting on them, enjoying being able to turn around on the spinning stools!

I went to another health supplement store that didn't have the ones I wanted, either. So I went to Krogers for groceries.

Then I went to GNC or something where I was able to buy the ones I needed. I had to wait a long time for the computer to input the previous customer's card data. It made my back hurt, so I paced back and forth in the store. Impatience at its finest, eh.

Afterwards, I went over to Walmart and bought a set of four phones for Mom so she can answer them from the bathrooms and wherever else she may be. I had a pack of four already here for her, but two of them have died and the batteries are not available.

Then I came back home. I'd had a lot of lovely exercise walking in the sunshine and throughout the stores.
