I won at Scrabble! by 100 points! Willem usually creams us all.
We played scrabble again tonight before bed. It takes about an hour for a game. I put down Queen and made 95 points! Amazing. I was so thrilled. I won the game by 100 points! That has never happened! Much of scrabble is luck, though, as you don't get to choose your points. You have to do a lot of figuring out, but so much depends on the pieces you draw.
It would be interesting to do an experiment. Play a game, everyone keeping track of the letters they pick and the letters they play. Then play the game again, giving those letters to the person who lost. See if they now will win with those letters. Oh, the other two people have to get the same letters they got before and make the same words as before, as long as that's possible, too. Except for the one that won the first time, they have to now play the letters the loser played the first time. Of course, that won't be possible as soon as a deviation is made by the main player from the original game.
