I think I'd better go swimming for awhile, get my body moving a bit. I'll put on my long wetsuit today as it was quite cold last night, 12 or 10C I think. Brrrrr.
I'm sitting in the chair at the bottom of dead man's run. I turned around to let my laptop get the internet connection better and heard a deer turn and run back the other direction. It's 5:16 pm. It's overcast and windy. The wind must be blowing my scent in the other direction.
I'm very surprised to know that deer are here at this time of day adn that they are using ded man's run.
I have discovered that there is algae growing on the bottom of the pond. At times it gets full of air and rises to the surface. I guess that's how scum forms on a pond, or how it gets stagnant.
The wind is blowing across the surface of the water, rippling the reflection a bit.
The hillside is slowly getting covered with grass and other foliage. There's a lot of foliage here under my feet, too.
