I drove Abe over to his friend's house who has AC. It's quite hot, but not as sultry as it is in Georgia! Your glasses don't steam up when you go outside!
I went over to Silver lake, to the pulloff on Hwy 7 and swam with my clothes on. I wasn't that hot, but it was quite refreshing, anyway!
I lay in the water and floated. The waves were high and walloping. It was hard to float on them. The wind was blowing hard.
Afterwards, I walked the roundabout, which is a most lovely wooded spot: hemlocks, maples, elms. By the time i was back to my car, ten minutes or less, my hair and clothes were dry, it was that hot!
I found the geocache my gps showed was there. That was fun. I wrote about the weather and a dip in the lake on this historic record setting day. Weather warnings abound today.
I've learned how to get my gmail on my phone, so I sat reading some of the comments from today's videos. Then I came home, checking on the hours for the dump.
