clearing out the dead juniper bush then lying in the screened in hammock
I've had my web cam on and have been letting it video as I cut out the dead branches from the low sprawling juniper bush.
I am waiting for it to process so it will upload. \i am going to put all those branches over the deck so it gives more shade.
It is such a nice day out today. It's 85F outside and 75F in the house. There's a great breeze.
I was going to move the hostas, but I may move them down here when I'm finished with my branch removal. The outhouse chair will have to move further down into the woods so it is out of sight.
I am in my screened in hammock at the top of the woods. I like that the mosquitoes can't get me. just as i said that i had to kill one on my leg. i don't have the screen tucked under me, just hanging around me from its frame.
If I look up, I seethe elm overhead. The wind is blowing hard in the trees, the elms near the house, the tall cedars nearby, the top of the birches...It's a lovey spot. A blackfly has come to join me in here, but his only desire is to get out! Freedom!
There are some birds down the steep slope. Sometimes the wind blows the tree tops out of the way and i can see a lovely blue and cloudy sky. I'm glad it's windy today,k the supposed record breaking hot day. it's not hot here!
