stopping points on the way home

At Canadian Tire, I bought six c rechargable batteries for the laser night vision camera from the village.

I drove home, happy our gas was 'only' $1.29/litre instead of the $1.59 elsewhere in the province.

I wanted to lie in a hammock, but couldn't find a spot where I could put one up where there wouldn't be mosquitoes.

I went to survey the downed cedar trees along the roadside, but I couldn't get near enough to them to peel them. Oh well.

I went back into the village and dropped in on S.R., but she wasn't home. I went to check on the garden, but it's not ready for gardening in yet.

I came home, feeling like I'd done a lot of driving around for what I'd accomplished.
