Mother's day time with Alida
I met Alida at Tim Hortons. She looks so lovely! What a beautiful woman she is! Amazing to call her a woman, she's always been my little four year old!
She even had gifts for me! She gave me a set of cup shaped metal chimes. Lovely sound. She also gave me a lovely Bless our Home wall hanging, knowing I'd like it.
She also gave me a red rose! I'm going to preserve it and keep it forever!
I wrapped up the Monet book I'd bought for her in Borders in Athens, Georgia. I was supposed to be for her birthday, but I knew she'd love looking at it, so I'd not be able to wait for her birthday to give it to her in a month when she turns 22!
We had a nice visit and caught up on all the latest in each of our lives. It was very nice.
It's such a heartwarming thing to be loved by my children! I'm so blessed! I'm going to keep the card forever, too. Perhaps I'll frame it, even!
