I went for a brisk walk to the mailbox this morning with the nordic walking sticks. It was so cold I wore my winter camouflage coat and wished I were wearing my mittens.
Dick made salmon patties and eggs for breakfast. I didn't have my green earrings, so I made some at the table after we chatted for awhile.
I gathered some grape vines and found some boards and got them ready to make into shelves with Esther. We used his power saw, a table saw? It was so easy!
We had to walk up into the woods for more white wood. We made a really nice one with thick pieces and then later Esther made another one.
I made a third one. We hung the thick ones on either side of the front door and one on the wall beside the back door.
The decorations with grapevines look wonderful.
Annie and Justin came over. We played show and tell with the crafty stuff in my car trunk and in her big box.
I called and told Mom I'll be there MOnday evening. I'll drive tomorrow and stay over in Anderson tomorrow night so I can go to the dental place on Monday morning for my permanent teeth. I hope they aren't too tight and hurt!
We had chicken salad for lunch. I had it with sprouts and wrapped in lettuce.
We had roast lamb, cooked over the bbq and smoked with mesquite, wet wood he put in the coals. We also had mashed potatoes and broccoli. It was amazing.
I gave Annie a massage with her power buffer, then she gave me one, too. I didn't realize she is a massage therapist. No wonder she gave me an incredible massage!
I finished up Esther's basket with the willow stakes, some wisteria and some greenbriar which we'd picked the thorns off of. It was nice to walk to the forest hill and around the edge of the yard to find it.
Esther, Annie, Justin and I played Blockus. It was a good game. I liked playing it.
