Art time 101.
Sue and I got together to spend some time doing some artwork. She brought a box of wood pieces, a magazine of pictures and some paper, along with an idea she'd gotten from her daughter.
We played with the blocks and cut out some applique pictures and glued them onto the blocks, then painted, or painted first.
I used the woodburning tool to draw a donkey for my mom. Then at the end of the evening, I used the scroll saw to cut out another donkey to send to my mom!
It was so much fun! I had all the supplies we needed for playing with all this stuff. It was great. I would love it if she'd come over every Saturday and we could do stuff like this. Or perhaps I could go over there one Saturday and she could come over here the next.
