The missionaries came over around 4. Sue and I were playing with art stuff. I was using the woodburning tool from Tisch and Graham to make a little donkey.
The eldren wanted to carve their names on their planners, so they practiced and then did so!
They wanted to see stuff, so we sat in the glass tipi for awhile, then went to the plateau tipi, then stopped on the porch to look at the rain chains and the Christmas trees. Then we went down to Horseshoe Island tipi.
We had to crawl under to get into the tipi. We sat on the fabric floor and they missionaries took pictures of themselves.
We joked about people in Canada living like this. I had the emergency blanket for Sue to sit on. It warmed her up immediately.
Afterwards we left the island and headed passed Timely Rest and went over to Sedge Meadow Tipi.
I lit the lantern and sat on the slab floor beside it while the eldren lay in the hammocks and Sue stood up.
It was very nice in there with the lantern on! I liked it a lot. The inside of the plastic was illuminated nicely.
There had been a flood awhile back, so between the slab boards, was clear flat ice. Very pretty.
It was getting dark when we left there. Willem met us on the road as we headed back up to the house.
