scrabble till I headed out to move and stack firewood
Much better. I took a shower and am all decked out in yellow. It's very humid today, like almost saturated air!
We are all sitting around like bumps on a log. Then Oma suggested scrabble, so after realizing we had one and that the stores didn't, we moved to the kitchen to play.
I began to fall asleep waiting for my turn to come back. Such a slow game. Most board games bore me to death.
So after eating two whole wheat bagles, I opted out and went outside to wander around and see what was possible.
I saw a lot of birch logs on the row and moved them to the car so I can take them to my sedge meadow tipi where I can sit and work on making things with them.
I brought over the lovely wheelbarrow, now that it's working so nicely with a solid rubber wheel and all!
I started to take firewood off the near stack, but as soon as I moved it a bit, the back stack slid down into it, or at least the top logs slid down into it. So they got the first ride to the woodshed.
I moved three loads of wood and stacked them up before the sun came out and I sweltered in the heat. So now I'm inside relaxing.
