I've been inside hanging up my amd mom's clothes, taking them where they go and rearranging things.
I also put all the laundry away, towels, dishclothes, etc. I transfered the wash to the dryer and put in another load. I hope my brown and orange skirt don't run. You never know about some of these things, you know!
I am back outside on the front porch now. I don't know what bird that is. I think it might be that tiny nuthatch.
I've practiced my forward roll 100 times now, and it sounds like I know what I'm doing. I tried doing a d chord. It uses four fingers and I find that my fingers are too wide, or at least the middle one is, so it hits on the one next to it anyway, I kept it pushed down while I sdid fifty rolls so it would callouse up my fingertips.
I want to go buy some flowers to make a lovely wreath for mom. I need to find out where you buy flowers for cheap. I'll have to see what I can find out.
Now I know when I look at the little yellowish bird with one stripe that it is a goldfinch. It's so much easier to tell when it's bright yellow in the summertime!
I just love basking in the sunshine. I'm so glad it's getting to be near the last frost now! How lovely!
I'm going to plant those gladiolas this afternoon. The purple ones. I guess the best place to put them is around that tree near the mailbox. I'd like to buy a porch swing for mom, too, one that is freestanding that she can sit in when she goes up the hill to get the mail. That would be so nice for her to have a place to sit like that!
I bought mine for $39 when Alida was little. That was 20 years ago. So it would be three times as much now, right"? I'll have to see what I can do.
