MJ's photos
I put MJ's photos onto her computer so she has them now.
Willem is upstairs playing the piano on their grand piano. I'm in the basement transferring the pictures and videos that MJ took on our visit, onto their laptop.
We had a good ride over here all evening. We sat in the back together and looked at the pictures she'd taken and watched her and my videos. Many of them were about the baking we'd done earlier in the day.
She'd made cherry strudel. It was incredible to see her roll out the pastry dough to be nearly a yard wide on the whole table. Then she put her fists under it and let it drape into a larger and larger piece of dough. It became filo pastry!
She spread butter on it and then a can of cherry pie filling. It was amazing when she lifted the cloth and it just rolled over and over, creating the strudel.
I had no idea that's how you make strudel! I'll have to do it, now that I know how to make it. It was really cool!
