finished freezing the fiddleheads, willem's retreiving my stuff

I put all the fiddleheads into bags and Willem came home and put them into the freezer for me. I was so glad to see him. I’ve been quite miserable with my bum leg.
Trying to get up the stairs with a bum knee and a bum arm really is the pits! Good grief! Well, others have it a lot worse than I do.
Willem has gone down to the tipi to retrieve my basket full of books for me out of the hammock. I hope he can get there without tripping over the logs on the ground. I hope his flashlight works for him.
He’s so good to me.
