ARGH!! MBTI!! What a load of CRAAAAAAAAAAP! I'll try and find the paper I wrote in grad school about how MBTI is about as accurate as your horoscope.

And the whole "path" thing is also a load of crap because you can't accurate measure performance if the mediums are different. Sure all the hippy, touchie-feelie types will say that you need to let people do projects according to their preference but can you really judge a term paper against a diorama or a one-act play or a board game? Not really.

(You had Dr. Little as your advisor? My condolences. He was a fucktard.)

Yeah. I would've probably lasted a little longer as a music major if he hadn't been my advisor. Luckily, he's not an option for the Independent Studies choices for Music, if I decide to go that way.

Hopefully you have banked enough good karma not to get stuck with Dr. Choi either. I really love Dona Gilliam in the music industry department. That might be a good way to go. You can still do the music thing but learn the more "practical" side of the business like contract law and concert production and promotion. I *loved* her classes and wish I had taken more.

I tried that when I was a music major. I failed basic accounting (both I & II) TWICE.

I am not so good with the numbers.

Ugh. At least take her Intro to Music Industry, the Business of Music Industry, and Concert Production and Promotion classes. Those will give you a good enough foundation in the "bidness". And you can always do the recording classes as well. Is Robert Smith still there? He was excellent as well. I also took Management 300, which is the intro to management class in the business department. It was worth it to be the only arts major in a room full of stuffy business types. :) It might seem kind of dry, but management skills are useful no matter what you do and are especially needed in the arts. Being an adult student, you could probably cobble together your own music management type major without the icky accounting classes. I did that with theatre. (BTW, I got a C in Math 103 as well. Numbers don't like me either.)
