That's very true. This natural disaster, which lengthened our year by a fraction of a second btw, was no fault of our own, and we don't have any obligation, other than a moral reason, to aid the survivors. My point was that all the nations that whine about how evil the US is are always the first to hold their hands out for our money, or to complain that we don't give enough, which means they'd have to get off their crossant-filled asses and do something for themselves.
Many governments want to say we are too bossy in the world, yet when there's a need for money we are too UNinvolved. It's not like the UN is even trying to hide their hypocracy.
Canadians bitch about the american government (not the americans, we know the difference between people and state. :D), but we at least do our part, with such even involving spreading our armed forces resources extremely thin to help out
