Last week I found a website called futureme that allows us to send emails to the future. It's the coolest thing, I sent one to myself for my birthday in 2009. I don't even remember what I wrote anymore, so in 2009 I probably forgot all about it and it will be a nice surprise.
I think the idea is awesome. Send yourself something for the future.
http://www.futureme.org/ There are also some people who make their emails public. I went through some of them and even saved this one, because I liked it:
"Dear FutureMe,
how are you holding. Today July 17th at 2:08 you decided to do a future message to yourself, by using Stumble on Firefox, while using bblean to make the desktop look cool. You feel bad becuase you love Stephanie Turner, but doubt being able to stay faithful to her. You care about Lauren Bach, despite not knowing how she feels about you. You want and want to fuck Jessica Joiner. You couldn't live without Sarah rychart. Mary thinks your a rapist, and you don't care to show her any different. You talked to Anne and you and her are friends, but nothing of love comes between you anymore. You are listening to Coheed and Cambria and absolutely love it. Your getting stronger, and smarter. You are maturing physically and mentally. Your room is an extreme mess. You have no will to clean it though. Your going to Meramec to get your classes signed. Your best friends are Chris Reed and Nick Erwin from Belleville, Illinios. Your mom, your dad, your 2 sisters, and your little brother all care about you. Your 18 years old, 5 months. You have known Stephanie for very little time at this point. You kissed her the first day you met her. You don't regret it. I love you Chris. I love you and who you are, don't let go of yourself. There's always enough ground to change things. You just have to find the ground."
