Friday's are great!
Well it's been awhile since I've updated - so here's my week in a flash!!
Monday - Started my field experience at an Elementary School in Waterloo. The kids are real cute! It's going to be quite the experience! There are 21 kids in my Kindergarten class and 7 of them don't even speak English!
Monday night I decided I wanted to go roller blading around campus and biffed out huge going down a hill and my entire leg/elbow are all scraped up real bad!! I did laugh at myself though!!
Tuesday - I got to talk to Megan Helmick!! I'm a big fan of that girl!!!
Wednesday - I started with the J-high/ Senior High Youth Ministries at Prairie Lakes Church!! It was great!! I'm really excited to be a small group leader for the 9th grade girls and just get to know them throughout the school year! I'm pretty much real excited to go to their high school events and have them over for slumber parties in my dorm room! It's worked a little different than U-turn - but it's still a really great ministry!
Friday - Don't have any class on Friday's - so I'm just hanging out today! My friends and I might go to the fair that's in town this afternoon/tonight. There's suppose to be like a circus kind of deal with a lot of other great stuff!! If it's anything like small town fair - I hope the city girls aren't disappointed!!
So pretty much my Mom loves me and hasn't forgotten that I moved out!! She sent me a real great piece of mail today!! Made me smile real big!!
