I have discovered Utattemita which is a category on Nico Nico Douga where amateur singers post their covers of mainly Vocaloid songs~ Some of these singers are actually really good and a few have gone professional.
Dasoku is my favourite Utattemita singer so far with his deep, sexy voice which has been described as a sort of cross between Gackt and Junichi Suwabe's.
This is the first Utattemita song I heard (and happens to be sung by Dasoku) and it's still one of my favourites. It was actually on this fan playlist of songs for 07-Ghost characters! XD I was searching for more 07-Ghost stuff, came across it and got sucked into the world of Utattemita! That is supposed to be a drawing of Dasoku~ And the cat that appears is his Norwegian Forest Cat, Moka. Love his 'Aa, mou dame.' at 2:47~ This song "E? Aa, sou." was set as Frau's song on the playlist~
And this is my favourite Dasoku cover - "///unknown///"
Also love, love 'Magnet' (about forbidden love~) covered by Dasoku x clear (a singer that has gone pro).
And another singer I love is Tourai~ He also composes Vocaloid songs (under another name and those songs are rather popular from what I've gathered), yet he doesn't sing the songs he's composed and prefers to cover other songs esp. those sung by the female Vocaloids! XD. His version of 'Crystal Mic' is so sweet and pure~!!
'From Y to Y' was set as Bastien's song and makes me really want to seriously play him somewhere! o(>_<)o Esp. after finding the translation of the lyrics. I love the 'Mata ne' (We'll meet again) at the end. Both Tourai and Clear covered this song and I just can't decide which one I like better so here's a fan mixed duet version!
