A coincidence or something more...?
So, a few nights ago, I dreamt that there was something wrong with one of the lifts in out apartment block. We live on the 15th floor.
In my dream, I was inside the lift with some other people when a mechanical voice suddenly shouted 'Cable error! Cable error!" but the lift kept moving downwards, jerking and shuddering wildly because of the faulty cable. Everyone screamed and grabbed onto the sides of the lift for dear life. Fortunately, it did manage to reach the ground floor in one piece... and no one was hurt.
Then today I see a notice put up saying that they'll be replacing all the lift cables in the next few days.... it's an annual maintenance thing, but still it just strikes me as kind of creepy...!
