When I got to LA today it only felt like everything I did in the morning before getting on to the plane was only an hour away. I think there are two reasons for that. 1) The contextual difference is so different that It takes a little while for me to realize what's going on. 2) When I'm on the plane the sense of time is greatly diminished resulting from not seeing the daylight change outside, much like how one'd feel in a casino. Time spent on board a plane is more like a time lapse, eh?
