I want to post more often, but lacking a real computer throws a wrench into that plan. Instead, when I have the time to, whatever brilliant (or not) thought has evaporated...leaving me staring at a blank screen.
My friend that I was going to go to the 65_REDROSES benefit concert with, had to cancel :( She's been trying to get in with her Naturopath for months, and her appointment is at 7:00pm the night of the concert. Boo. But she feels back and wants to give me a donation for the CCFF anyway. :) I really don't want to go to this event by myself...but that's not a good reason for me not to go. I have to show my support. For Eva. And all the CF'rs. It is important. So I'll go. :)
Chai tea is a delicious beverage.
I grabbed the newest issue of Yoga Journal magazine, and I'm excited to try the routines inside.
I saw my old yoga teacher the other day, she was in the store and was sooo excited to see me. She didn't know that I had quit the studio. But she made me an intriguing offer- see, they do a work trade program, where the you can go clean the studio for 3 hrs a week in exchange for unlimited yoga.
I'm kinda on the fence about taking her up on this. Simply because...I've been enjoying my personal yoga sessions in my living room. I don't have to get up at 4:00am to do these, when I go tothe studio, I have to get up at 4am, make sure I eat something, walk to the studio for the 6 am class, and then get home, wake up Harlen, make lunch, and get to work. I like that I can stay up later at night, because I don't have to get up so early. I like not having to time my meals for 2 hrs in advance to my class. And well, call me lazy, but I already work 40hrs a week, do I want to make it 43?
The HR lady at work got fired the other day, so I have to wait to get info about the tuition re-embursement program.
She only got fired because the company is making $ cuts. Not because she did something wrong :( Single mom too. Boo, corporations. wow, I'm a hypocrite.
I fifnished The Hunger Games Trilogy, it was amazing. Big anti-war message in there. I HIGHLY recommend it! Yes, it's a YA novel, but it's definately meaty enough for adults.
Blahblahblah.
