Harlen called his oldest sister to see if borrowing cash was a possibility. Unfortunately it was not. But then his OTHER sisiter called him and told him that she would lend us 3k from her line of credit. We did not expect this. We never thought that Rhonda had that kind of money at her disposal (single mom) and Harlen has never been super tight with her, like he is with his oldest sis.
Then he told me that he was talking to our friend B, who is in lean times himself (he lost his job, months ago) but he offered up a big sum from HIS line of credit as well!
I just feel so very lucky and grateful that we have these people in our lives.
So with that, and what the gov. has already cleaned out of his account, he's paid off.
We still have to pay this back, but oweing your family $ is much preffered to oweing the government! I THINK we may be O.K. for rent, BUT I'm not sure yet. I hope so. But hope is what we got!
