The bad news, I've managed to pick up a good dose of the "man-flu" since last night. Aching all over and trouble swallowing are the order of the day, worst luck.
The good news, however, is that today I travelled out to our new prospective client to start their trial of of Proof of Delivery software, which is now almost done and in almost half the time it's taken to do similar projects in the past. Here's to the learning curve and looking for doing things a different way ;)
They seem REALLY keen, so we'll just wait and see. I'm remarkably pragmatic right now - they could love it, buy it, and I'm a couple of hundred a month better off as a minimum for the next 2-3 years. They could like it but not go for it, in which case I have a system to trial with others, and we know of others who are interested. It's looking promising, so I'll wait with my fingers crossed ready to answer any queries they may have!
So I'm left wondering how my friends are doing! I *am* checking LJ regularly, even though I don't always have the time to reply - it's great to see Nele so busy these days (that girl works too hard!), Kurt and Karen in love with each other, Annie in love with DMC4, Bran who is just cute enough to love anyway and always gives me something interesting to read, and my many other friends who I check up on whenever I can. I'm glad to see you're all doing so well, and hope to catch up with you all soon - now I have a teensy weensy bit of free time!
*hugs to all*
