 Awesome weekend!  I do love a long weekend. What amazes me is how fast they go by! Managed to meet up for dinner with nwhepcat and autobadgirl on Sunday and we all talked & talked for hours! It was so much fun, and the ladies are super cool! It didn't feel like I was just meeting them for the first time either. In contrast, I had a fam jam earlier on Sunday, and it was so awkward. Nobody knew what to talk about, & there were a few cringeworthy moments. But, naturally, two comments that irked me the most - promises to come visit us here (we've lived here for years & they have never visited), & somehow in discussing the mister's scar from his knee surgery & having staples removed, his sister said, (while standing behind me) 'oh it's a good thing these two haven't had kids."  ... If somehow you can go from knee scars/staples to having children & it make sense in your head, then please explain it to me. I'm still pissed off her comment. We weren't talking about childbirth/c-section scars. We were talking about knee surgery.

But the amazingness of dinner with fangirls completely turned around my day!
