Prince of Persia + Circus
On Friday I went to see "The Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" with Yuki, Matt, and Patrick. I was a huge fan of the PS2 game of the same title, but nonetheless I went into the film with low expectations. I can confidently state this is the best movie based on a video game ever made. It's a pretty low bar, though. There's better movies based on theme-park rides.
On Saturday I went to the circus in Nagoya. I was blown away. death was defied. Ligers were displayed (and jumped over by their smaller progenitors, tigers). I ate cotton candy (pictures to be posted on facebook). It was an amazing circus. After that I went to outback and spent too much money. Then I went to Gifu and drank with Jon and Steve.
Sunday I went to a birthday picnic in the park near Ogaki castle. It mas a nice mild time.
