I so don't feel good this morning. Here's hoping the ibuprofen I just took kicks in soon, because man do I feel like shit. (Which is annoying, because I was fine yesterday, wttfffffffffff.)
Rusty's surprise party was Saturday night. Tasha and I made him rainbow cake and he was, indeed, extremely surprised. XD So we were proud of ourselves. I got him Legos, which he immediately put together, as he is five. Sunday morning the six of us who were left got up and walked down to this random field near their apartment where there were COWS and DONKEYS and HORSES which was entertaining, and then went and played on a playground, and then we made MASHED POTATOES for lunch and that was my weekend.
I've been watching The X-Files recently... I just finished the first season yesterday, and I'm through the second episode of the second season (for those of you familiar with X-Files, that was the "tapeworm man" episode).
Here is what I want to know: Is there anyone who didn't immediately ship Scully and Mulder upon seeing the very first episode? Because good shit, can you spell "sexual tension"? It's making me CRAZY.
daikenkai is going to be in Dallas later this week for... some comedian or other I can't remember who and she and her friend are staying with us while they're here :D Yay! Fun times shall be had, I am sure. Hopefully, I can still manage to actually get my homework done while they're here because I am very very bad about distractions. x__x

edit: So hoozilla lent me her copy of Watchmen, and I am finally reading it! I'm only maybe twenty pages in, but the thing that immediately struck me was how well physically cast the movie was. Like, appearance-wise, everyone they got in the movie is perfect for their characters. WOW.
