fffffff bored

I watched a lot of movies this weekend: Eagle Eye, The Duchess, Hotel for Dogs, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian and The House Bunny. I had forgotten that Kat Dennings is in House Bunny, which was awesome, because I love her. I think Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist comes out on DVD soon which is exciting because I want it real bad. Hotel for Dogs had that one Vampire Weekend song I can never remember the name of that has the line in it that goes "Let's fight crime with mangoes and limes" which is one of my favourite song lyrics.

My hair is up in a bunch of braids right now to make it krinky and it looks exceedingly silly. Hopefully, it will behave and dry overnight so that when I take it down tomorrow it'll look all cool.

Classes start tomorrow, too. I have English from 10:10 - 11:05 and then DMAT (that's developmental math; it's like remedial math for idiots, which I need since I haven't taken a real math class in about five years) from 11:15 - 12:10. My English class has a little sub-note thing that says "Peace studies" and I'm not entirely sure what that means, but it sure sounds interesting.

I think I shall wear my death boots. I enjoy my death boots, they are very comfy.

I forgot to mention before that I went to Borders the other day and got myself some new books: The Tales of Beedle the Bard (finally!) It only took me about twenty minutes to read, and I enjoyed it lots; American Gods, which I'm working my way through now, in addition to The Other Boleyn Girl, and I'm enjoying a whole bunch; Once Upon a Time in the North, which is another of Pullman's little novellas that takes place in the HDM universe, and is about how Lee Scoresby and Iorek Byrnison met in the North; and this neat little box set of 40 different postcards with Sandman art on them which I found in the bargain section for $2.99. I also got some more of those magnetic bookmarks which are wicked useful because they are much harder to lose.

Bah. I don't want to go back to school. I'm not taking any theatre classes this semester and it's going to be horribly boring. >:

Whhhhhhhhhy does no-one ever answer my memes?

edit:
I didn't realise it was after midnight it's INAUGURATION DAY WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

edit2:
So the more I think about it the more I want to play Carmela somewhere again, but I want it to be at a more active game than Echoes, and I have not explored other RPs much.

SO, DEAR FLIST, I AM ASKING YOU FOR ASSISTANCE. What I need is a panfandom RP that allows book characters. What I want would also be one that doesn't have a survival plot, or one of those ones where your character's lost all their memories or something like that, and that uses the format where your character's journal behaves like LiveJournal, and action happens in logs; and I'd also prefer not to have a whole long application process to have to go through. Any suggestions?

yes we can, movies, echoes, rps, his dark materials, harry potter, politics, school, hair, music, death boots are super effective
