You addict! YOU POSTED TWICE IN ONE DAY! Anyways, Gen's deep comments on the post above:
a. If you ever even think about going emo and severing connects again (because let's face it, Lauren as emo is just...sad), I will have to haul my ass all the way from Davis to the East coast just to smack some sense into yah; I mean, connections may die, but only over time & due to natural causes (you realize I'm refering to the metophorical rather than literal sense of die) plus severing contacts is also kinda mutual, and I think very few people could bear the loss of Lauren ;)
b. OMG, I can't believe you could potentially get to go see Nada Surf (GaAH!); you should totally go
c. How's the new BRMC cd in relation to the older album (better? worse? potentially even more throwback? although I have to admit...I always did like that one song Rise Or Fall)
d. are we thinking the redwood city or san mateo theater? lemme know
e. this is totally not relating to your post, but I saw the weirdest BBC period piece last night on Masterpiece theater that had Miranda Otto as a Texan (or at least someone from out west) and Moaning Myrtle from HP II; weirdness, but it look kinda interesting...anyways muah & love! -Gen
OH my god, are you talking about "the way we live now"????? I saw like 5 minutes of that last night but i didn't see any miranda otto...damn!!
Don't worry gen, i could never sever contacts from my animal-loving commie friend!!! :)
San Mateo, i would think...but don't count me in for sure, i REALLY don't know how hectic things are going to get the weekend before i leave
The new BRMC album is very very very very different. It is MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH more bluesy/gospely. I absolutely love it (i just bought it...hehehehe!!) because you know i'm into that sort of music, but yeah, it is much more traditional and i think it sorta depends on your musical taste whether or not you'd like it.
much love, meilu (wow, haven't used that in a long time! lol)
