my car.

it's missing a belt. I we bought a new one. We can do it. right.. well. in order to put the first belt on you have to have the second belt off. so.

We loosened the long bolt that keeps it in place. when that didn't do anything we unscrewed alot of other things. supposedly, after loosening it, the thing should have "swiveled down" loosening the belt and allowing us to remove it. it didn't budge, no matter how many screws we loosened. I would really like to know what we were doing wrong... however, my first guess is the problem was that my father is a bone head.... that's actually my only guess.

in the end my hands are filthy and all torn up. i am running on 3 hours of sleep, so my body is exausted..

however.

i learned a valuable lesson...

I really really enjoy working on cars.

I never once complained like a girl. I never flinched when it cut open my hand. I didn't hesitate to stuff my head under the car to see where the antifreze was coming from. and I was thrilled at the fact that i was going to be a filthy mess.

I wanted to figure it out. I don't know much and i had to do alot of figuring out. which was a fun fun challenge. and i had to fit my hands into very small spaces inthe beginning when we were trying to get the belt on without knowing that the other one had to come off. all in all i wouldn't mind doing that more often, in fact... i would look foward to it.

That was really fun.. and i was highly dissapointed that we had to give up and turn it into Sears.

well. Michael is still here, playing games with garrett. so i should go see to him.
