If you don't know me, hi! I'm Maria. I'm a Special Education teacher in my twenties with a love for cooking, knitting, writing, outdoor sports like hiking and kayaking, and television among other things. I have a blog at http://twentysomethingreview.blogspot.com that I try to update once every week or so (although some weeks are tougher than others). I normally only use my livejournal for private posts (like an actual diary, who'd have thought?) and to read and post on communities, so this post is somewhat out of character for me. However, it came to my attention that there are people out there who check up on people's personal journals when they post to communities to make sure that they are genuine in their motives and not robots or douchebags. Some people might be suspicious of people with only a few posts or people who haven't posted in a long time, so I just wanted to put something out there to say that I am, indeed, a real person with only the best of intentions, but you won't see much here unless you want to read some stuff from 2004. I might not see it if you comment on this entry, and I'm pretty sure my livejournal is linked to an old email address that doesn't exist anymore, so if you want to contact me, you'd be better off commenting on my other blog.
