What the Hell Just Happened?
Ok, so my return wasn't quite as glorious as I had predicted, and it has been over two years since my last post, but I'm here to say "I'm back!" Again! For real this time! So you're probably wondering what the hell happened in two years. The obvious answer is: one hell of a lot. The real answer is: not much at all. I'm still dating Kirsten. I'm still living in Miami. I'm still wasting my life away watching movies. However, I did graduate from college, on time, mostly (interesting story related to that). Only rather than head off to LA as I had originally planned, I found my way into Grad School at UM. So instead of being a peon in Hollywood I'm a TA with students and a job and bills and papers and...Jesus, what the hell happened? I'm not quite sure actually. Between a really bad experience making my senior film and my becoming involved with a girl who was academically two years behind me I somehow found my feet becoming planted ever so firmer into the ground. So I guess what I'm saying is I sold out before I ever got a chance to sell out. Right now I don't know what the hell I'm doing, or where the hell I'm going, but then again, I never really did. Oh well, I have my health, well, minus the weight I've gained, the drinking and rare but reoccurring smoking habits. Hmmm...well I still have my poverty. Thank God, I don't know what I'd do if I ever lost that. Oh yeah, and my brother's getting married in a week, my friend Tomich is engaged and I'm going to Argentina for the summer. I think that's it.
