Top Of The Mountains
It's done. I, despite a planned panic attack (complete with tears) after boarding the bus, have made it to Colorado for the Gold Rush.
I never thought that I would find skies as beautiful as the ones in Michigan, but I was wrong. Everywhere you look out here, even over the most urban of scenes, there is this perfect frame of mountains and picturesque clouds. When it rains out here, the sky over the mountains stays clear and blue. It is so beautiful out here, it's unreal.
Brian and I have a tiny studio apartment with a kitchenette and air conditioning, and basic cable. The room came furnished (bed, chairs, table, microwave, dresser, etc.), and all the utilities are paid for by the land-lord, who is soooo cute and very nice.
Speaking of Brian, things with him are much better now. I'm in peaceful nesting bliss.
I miss all of you.
