Will drive my computer places and even buy Chipotle...

Despite having Norton 2007, the everything edition, it freezes on occasion and sometimes won't even snap out of it with ctrl-alt-del. It especially hates LJ for some reason. I fear it might be trying to get me to get some outside air...

It's not a new computer but not more than 3 yrs old. Plus, it tells me I don't have MS Word or Excel -- That the trial expired or something. Very weird, as I used it a lot before, for more than a year!

So, random system freezes and no MS Office goodness. Gotcha.

Do you defrag your harddrive(s) regularly? Have you tried checking for spyware? Have you reformatted and reinstalled Windows in the three years you've had it?

Norton checks for spyware routinely and my comuter says it doesn't need to be defragged.

The last statement, nope. But I'd have to find the backup disks/back up my music collection ASAP, along with everything on there. Bah.

I swear, I didn't friend you after all this time just b/c I needed help desk. The shame of it!

The Windows registry is notorious for becoming incredibly bloated after enough program installs/uninstalls, which is what may be slowing down your system. Or you may have too many programs running in your system tray. I think we're getting to the "I have to take a look at it," point.

Well that's good, because I don't do helpdesk anymore. i just r smrt with compootorz. ;)

SOunds good, I think for your immune system's sake we should wait until after I'm not sick from the plague, though. I'm gross and going to bed when the sun goes down at this point. Thanks for the offer, I really appreciate it.
