I'm sure you've all heard the jizz on Google's new web browser,
Chrome. No, that ain't a download link, it gets released today sometime, well, win32 gets released today sometime.
I'm sceptical.
¿Well, I'm sceptical because the comic suggests it's a multi-application browser? I might be misreading that. Anyways, my experience is multi-application functionality isn't hot. A multi-application cellphone is a crumby picture-camera and a low-quality video-camera. A web browser is a very limited ftp-client. My Instant Messenger is an awful irc client.
•Sigh•, I suppose that isn't really proof of anything. Just because the sun has always risen every morning it doesn't mean it will certainly rise tomorrow; just because multi-application devices or softwares have been junk doesn't mean Chrome will be junk. For instance, they've already advertised some of their fangtang-ular innovations:
Anyways, I'm just sayin' I'm sceptical.
Too bad I don't have a win32 to download it though....
