Poor Asi. Always the omega cat, picked on by those bigger than him, and by a 2 lb girl. Always sickly, with tummy issues and heart issues and probably brain issues. His heart issues finally caught up with him last night. They'd told us when we first discussed it that he could throw a blood clot at any time, and, depending where it went, it could cause all sorts of issues. That was kind of what we were thinking were causing his seizures. But the one last night got into his lungs, I guess, and he wasn't able to breathe. They offered to put him on a respirator, but then he would be on a respirator for the rest of his life, which is no life for a cat. So we went to say goodbye to him, and got there just as he was crashing and ... well. There were many times that I did not like Asi, but I always loved him... I don't know. I'm glad I'm at work today so that I have other things to concentrate on.
