This post doesn't have enough kittens.
Man. I had to take a kittenbreak at about 10:00 this morning to wait for the AC guy. (It was a bad sodacan on the outside whirlything.) Yeah, I'd rather concentrate on the extra kitten cuddles than the emergency repair (although I will say that, as much as I dislike the tone of certain pages on their site - I know they think they're being funny, but I don't agree - Environmental Heating and Air has been amazing every time we've contacted them. I emailed at 11:00 last night, and they emailed me back at 6:00 this morning to say that they'd call later to set up an appointment. Then, at 8:30, the tech called and said he could fit me in between 10 and 12. I was home by 10, and he was there and fixed things and I was on my way back to work by 10:30! And the tech himself is very nice. And now my baby kittens and my old man kitten are comfortable for the super-hot weekend that's on its way.
Anyway, Emergency AC repair or not, I really wish I could have a kitten break every day! Eric's on the road, so they were super happy to see me, and I got lots of nudges and purrs. Definitely a good break in the day!
