I read Technitter's blog religiously! She's so amazing! I don't usually have trouble with tiny numbers of stitches on dpns, though, so I hadn't even thought of using a different cast on. The tiny needles threw me!

I moved it onto circulars yesterday, so I was able to do a better job of blocking. I feel a lot more confident about it!

I'm sure it will block out! If it persists, you can always spray and re-pin just that center bit to get it flat.

(besides, the center of the Evenstar is a bit wonky, since I'd never done a circular cast on and was working with an overly large crochet hook, so there's no danger of being shown up even if it doesn't block out!)
