A Very Musical Weekend!

Yay for this weekend! It was very musical! On Friday, I bought the soundtrack to A Very Potter Musical. It is as awesome as you'd expect!

Saturday, Eric made me dinner with a heart biscuit for me, and then we went to see Young Frankenstein the Musical! I had wanted to see it, but had forgotten about it. Luckily, we were able to get last minute tickets, because yesterday was the last showing. Seriously, guys, I need to get better schedules for what's playing locally!

Anyway, the musical was fabulous! It was funny, and the songs were great. I got the soundtrack, but I wish I could've gotten a video, because the dancing was amazing! We're both really glad we went!

And outside the center, there was a path full of themed Christmas trees. They were very pretty! I especially liked the one from the Scrap Exchange, filled with recycled stuff made into ornaments! A Syringe Snowflake! What every mad scientist needs on their tree!

Not to be outdone, Sunday was another musical! The local showing of Cinderella has been going on for 27 years, but never have they had a better Princess Lenya! Ruth was perfect! And it's a tradition that little girls dress up as princesses when they go. We couldn't pass that up! Nick was only sad because the prince went up the aisle trying the shoe on random audience members, and he stopped and went back ONE ROW BEFORE US! Nick is *sure* his foot would've fit!

It was a lot of fun, though, and was really a great performance! I think it should become a tradition for us, too!
