Today is Miracle Treat Day at Dairy Queen. If you don't buy a Blizzard, you hate children ;) (If you are carpooling with me this evening (I still have two seats open!), there will probably be a stop. Do it for the children!)
Spoonflower will have a Free Swatch Day next week, so if you've been thinking of printing your own fabric, here's a chance to try it out. (One really cute idea that they mentioned in their blog was printing wedding programs onto handkerchiefs "to dry your tears of joy." It's a supercute idea!)
From the friendsfriends - Clouded Leopards. Number one on my "if I were going to illegally keep a wild animal" list.
No progress on the sewing/knitting front. I knit three rows on my sock at lunch, and then came home and sewed the bottom ruffle onto a skirt -- backwards. Oh, French seams, why are you so lovely, yet so contrary to what I've been taught my whole life? Then I went to prepare my other fabric for skirt making tonight, and realized that it wanted to be a corset, not a skirt. Hrm. Guess I'll be demonstrating with the dark blue.
Sacramento guys seemed to take Eric's flight delay in stride, so it looks like he'll be coming home Saturday morning, after all! Assuming I didn't just jinx it.
