Went to the Mills with KJ today. Got myself a birthday present of new shoes, as the old pair had ripped open too much for even me. Also we got a couple of books. I bought a $14 copy of The Silmarillion so Dad's copy can go back to general circulation. (I've been reading KJ through it, but it's going very slowly.)
