Ankkarock and riding

I bought tickets to Ankkarock! This is nice. I was worried I wouldn't see any of the usual summerbands like Apulanta, Zen Café and 69 Eyes. Two bands out of those three I wouldn't listen otherwise, but they rock live. Why summerbands? Because I'm used to seeing them live on festivals and I connect them with a proper summer. :P This is a tradition of only 2 years (this year is the third) but a tradition it is nonetheless. Also, Nine Inch Nails is there and I get to see the oddity that is the Japanese Dir en Grey. And a couple of Finnish bands I'd really like to get to know, e.g. Lapko.

Anyone else thinking of coming to Ankkarock? I'm going with a few friends, but they won't stop me from seeing others as well. :)

My fence jumping course (horses!) was moved by one week and this means I get to go riding in 2,5 weeks. Yay! I've also been staring at one riding school's website, the list of summer courses, and wondering if I should go to one of them. They are not horribly expensive. I will have to see.

Okay, work shift is ending and I get to go home. Walking to be done in the evening with Jutta and arvoitus.

EDIT: The date of the fence jumping course was changed again. I wish they'd make up their minds... I have to wait 3 weeks after all. Höh.

satunnaista, festarit
