(no subject)
I got home almost 2 weeks ago and have seen so few people. Basically I've been riding my bike all day long or going to the gym for spinning classes. I'm just so nervous about riding AIDS/Lifecycle. I mean, 585-miles in 7 days...I hope I'm in a good enough shape. Sunday I rode about 50 miles and didn't feel very tired. But that was mainly flat land, whereas I'm going to be riding up a lot of hills during the AIDS/Lifecycle ride. People have been so supportive. It's amazing! I'm learning so much. I'm almost at my fundraising goal total. I'm needed to raise $2,500 and I'm only about $300 short of it at the moment. I'll get there though, I know it.
I promise that I'll see more friends after this is over. I'll be arriving home on June 10th. My brother is having a college graduation party at my house on Sunday, but after that I'm all about catching up with people. Hopefully I'll have a job when I come back too. I've applied to a few places and I'm pretty sure that I have one in the bag.
It was raining a lot here yesterday, but then all of a sudden cleared up. And today the weather is gorgeous. I went biking a bit this morning alone, later I'll be going to the gym for a spinning class, and tonight I'll be eating at Native Foods and then seeing ALL MY SONS at the Geffen Playhouse. It's supposedly an amazing production of the play, I've been reading tons about it.
And as for DJ, I feel horrible that I didn't call you on your b-day, so....HAPPY 20th MY LOVE!
